Climbing on Paklenica and the canyon of Čikola river

The best free climbing site in the Šibenik-Knin County is located in the canyon of the Čikola river. The cliffs are located near the bridge over the Čikola river (on the road Pakovo selo – Ključ), about 1500 m upstream. They are very attractive to climbers.

There are 50 equipped free climbing routes up to 40 meters high at this location in the canyon. Due of its south facing position that protects it from the bora wind, this climbing area is ideal for the cold part of the year.

About a 2 hours drive away is the Paklenica National Park which is the most important Croatian climbing centre, well known outside of Croatia as well.

Zip line Čikola

If you want to feel a true adrenaline thrill and experience the canyon of Čikola from the bird’s-eye view at the same time – zip line driving is a unique opportunity for you. The attractive zip line in the canyon of Čikola is 10 kilometres away from Drniš, along the section of the county road Ključ – Pakovo selo. It has even three separate lines with a total length of over 1400 meters.

Diving

There is a diving school within the hotel Spongiola on the island of Krapanj. The theoretical part is taking place in the hotel and hotel pool and then it is time for diving. Night dives, visits to shipwrecks, diving in the Kornati National Park and half-day and daily tours are also organized in the school.
